Synthetic Minds

In Synthetic Minds, you wake up as X29, a prototype robot who finds itself in an abandoned office.  Explore, find codes and decrypt ciphers to make sense of your situation and  ultimately escape. This is a mostly text-based adventure navigated with mouse  and keyboard; this game has no sound.

This is a small one-person passion project, I hope you enjoy playing  it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Controls:

Navigate with the arrow keys. You cannot move diagonally.

Open and close your character menu with [i]. You can also save and exit the game through there.

To interact with something, "move" in its direction while standing on the next tile.

The UI, be it in menus or dialogues, is navigated with the mouse.

Known issues:

In the browser version, text can be misaligned or truncated if the screen is too small. It is highly recommended to  play in full screen to avoid this. The downloadable desktop version does  not have this issue.

Do not use the "exit game" button in browser as it will simply freeze the game. Just close or reload the page.
